**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and engage in technical sales discussions to enhance customer understanding of our offerings.
- Manage merchandising tasks including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean sales area.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items that enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform end-of-day reconciliation as required.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
- Utilize basic math skills for transaction calculations and cash handling duties.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep the store clean and organized.
- Assist with lottery, tobacco, and fuel sales following store policies
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers

**Experience**
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
- Greet customers with a positive attitude and provide excellent service

What We’re Looking For:

- Friendly and dependable with good communication skills
- Cash-handling or customer service experience is an asset (but not required - we will train)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$29.58 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 45 per week

Work Location: In person
