Vancouver, Canada Steamworks Brewing Company Full time

Steamworks Group of Companies is looking for the right individual to join our Kitchen & Food Truck team. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving the truck to various service locations, organizing service, interacting with guests, assisting in the preparation, cooking, and service of food, as well as cooking in our restaurant(s).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Drive Steamworks Food Truck to various sites
- Interact with clients and the public by selling food and promoting the Food Truck events
- Cook menu items to spec in both the Food Truck as well as Restaurant
- Direct onsite booking inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Communicate with other staff, management, as well as customers
- Perform inventory checks
- Ensure recipe ingredients are checked for quality on a consistent basis
- Uphold bill time standards
- Ensure the Food Truck & Kitchen is held to the highest health and sanitization standards
- Continually look for ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce costs

**Education and Experience**:

- 5th class BC Drivers License with a clean driver abstract
- Experience cooking in a busy restaurant
- Administrative skills including knowledge of POS systems
- Food Safe Certification
- First Aid Level 1 (an asset)
