**Overview**

Due to our exponential growth, we are looking for a permanent full-time Referral and Booking Administrator/Receptionist with experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. **Position Summary**:
Under the direction of the Office Manager you will be a highly detailed-oriented individual responsible for Referral Processing using excellent communication and clinical practice.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Responsible for receiving receipting acknowledging and entering of referrals in an accurate and efficient manor and taking responsibility for the work flow.
- Have a full understanding of all specialties and ability to be able to make a judgment decision related to referral documentation. To know when to seek guidance from the Manager.
- Acknowledge receipt of referrals in accordance with protocols, within time frames specified.
- Accurate data entry of referrals and updated referrals. Ensure referrals are sent to accurate area and in the correct timeframes/manner. Liaison with internal staff in respect to referrals and enquiries.
- Ensure referrals to external agencies are receipted, ensure all document linking to patients clinical records is done accurately.
- To take initiative to update patient details at every opportunity.
- Maintain confidentiality and the right to privacy at all times.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant administrative educational qualification of proven/demonstrated work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience preferred.
- To accommodate our patients, the ability to speak Cantonese/ Mandarin fluently are required. In addition, an ability to speak any second language is an asset.
- Acknowledgement of Accuro, Oceans is essential.

**Skills**:

- Excellent patient service skills and overall positive team attitude.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and proven experience working closely with a clinical team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be tactful and diplomatic when dealing with individuals over the phone or other organizations and in person.
- Excellent customer service is practiced at all times.
- Dedicated team player with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Be able to react effectively in a ever changing environment.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Pay: $17.20-$21.70 per hour

- Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
