Registers new patients and updates existing patient Demographics.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the Doctor of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
- Keeps medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment.
- Sort and allocate incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, faxes, and Referrals.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff, and patient information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a variety of tasks throughout the day.
- Data entry and computer skills.
- Well organized, multi-tasking is an asset.
- Exposure to TELUS PS Suite EMR is MUST.

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.92 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (required)
