**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tips effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
