This Position reports to:
Drives & Motors Service Operations Mgr

**Your Role: Own the Challenge**
- Diagnose, repair, and occasionally perform preventative maintenance on low voltage drives to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs, including parts and labor, and clearly communicate procedures and pricing to customers while maintaining strong relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities and ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Work primarily in a workshop setting with occasional travel to industrial and commercial customer sites.
- Execute repairs according to customer expectations, identify opportunities for product improvements, and report potential sales leads internally.
- Coordinate and ensure the availability and quality of all necessary materials, parts, and equipment for service and repair tasks.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, recommend preventive measures, and suggest improvements to enhance operations and customer service.
- Follow safety and environmental protocols, report unsafe practices or incidents, and uphold ABB’s standards of integrity.

**What it takes to Run what runs the world**
- Technical diploma or certification in electronics or a related electro-technical field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in low voltage systems or electronics.
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining low voltage drives or similar equipment, with additional experience in customer-facing roles or field service positions.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, proficiency with repair tools and equipment, and the ability to write reports and communicate effectively in English with customers and team members.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs (15 kg), working in various environments, and traveling occasionally to local customer sites as required.
