**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience in packaging or manufacturing, ideally within the skincare or cosmetic industry
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to spot quality issues and ensure packaging meets company standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Packaging Lead and other team members
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with basic packaging equipment and hand-filling processes
- Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment

**Responsibilities Include**
- **Packaging Support**:_
- Assist the Packaging Lead in operating filling equipment and ensuring the smooth flow of production
- Perform quality control checks at the end of the filling line to ensure products are correctly filled, sealed, and labeled
- Box finished products, ensuring they are properly packed and ready for shipment
- Perform hand filling tasks for specific products that require manual packaging or special attention
- Ensure packaging materials are readily available and correctly loaded for production runs
- Support the maintenance of clean, organized, and safe work areas, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
- **Quality Control**:_
- Inspect products at various stages of the filling line to ensure that they meet quality standards for size, appearance, and labeling
- Identify and report any discrepancies or defects to the Packaging Lead
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving packaging issues to minimize downtime and ensure product integrity
- **Team Collaboration**:_
- Work closely with the Packaging Lead to ensure production goals are met and packaging processes run smoothly
- Communicate effectively with the Packaging Lead and other team members to coordinate efforts and address any challenges
- Assist in training new team members on proper packaging procedures and safety practices
- **Documentation & Reporting**:_
- Track packaging materials used and assist with inventory management
- Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including quality control checks, to ensure traceability and compliance with company standards

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in manufacturing or packaging is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, preferably in the skincare or cosmetic industry
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Experience with hand-filling processes and basic packaging equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

**Job Type**:Full-time

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 3:00 - 11:00 p.m.

**Pay**:Starting at $22 an hour

**Work Location**:Invermere
