With crisp fresh air, and wide trails, Lost Lake is the ideal setting for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The Lost Lake Nordic operations department is busy preparing for the season and seeking individuals to fill volunteer positions. Our volunteers are a very dedicated and enthusiastic group of people who act as ambassadors to the sport of cross country skiing and ensure our guests enjoy all that our trail system has to offer. Patrol/Trail Crew volunteers have the responsibility of checking trail conditions, assisting with trail maintenance and administering first aid as needed. Volunteers will also validate passes, provide accurate information and effectively assist our guests in a fun and social environment with scheduled weekly shifts available during the day, evening or weekend.
Do you possess a proficient cross country ski and snowshoe ability? Are you familiar with the Lost Lake Nordic trail system, love being outdoors, and interacting with people? Do you also possess, at minimum, a valid OFA Level 1 or equivalent?
