**Job Summary**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a temporary Canvasser for a period of up to 3 months while working 35 hours each week. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with community members to promote dog licence awareness, provide education, and enhance through sales, the number of dogs currently licenced in the community. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

The successful applicant will have a pleasant demeanor, be able to conduct themselves with professionalism, have good organizational skills, be detail oriented, and able to engage the public in a respectful way.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighbourhoods to promote dog licence awareness.
- Engage with residents in a friendly and approachable manner to encourage voluntary compliance with dog licence regulations.
- Distribute informational materials.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and report findings to administrative staff.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize efforts and improve canvassing techniques.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
