Located in Etobicoke, Ontario (QEW & Kipling), we are currently hiring a:
**CNC Machinist**

This is a full-time opportunity to work at a busy mould manufacturer.

You will work under the direction of a Leadhand to setup and operate multiple CNC machines to perform machining operations on various metal pieces, duties include:

- obtain and review setup sheets and programs to ensure accurate cutter paths
- check and verify job dimensions using precision instruments for accuracy and conformance to models and specifications
- setup and operate various CNC machines efficiently and within tolerance to precision cuts
- make program edits as needed
- review finished parts
- complete appropriate job-related paperwork
- perform other duties as assigned

You require the following skills and competencies:

- Strong knowledge of blueprints and process sheets
- Programming is an asset
- Accurate, self-motivated, positive attitude, team player
- Proficient in English
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills
- Minimum high school diploma with experience, or related technical background
- Day or afternoon shift available

Previous machine shop or automotive manufacturing experiences are strong assets.

Pay: $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
