**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilties**
- Operate CNC milling machines, routers, or lathes to manufacture parts based on specifications.
- Use **MakerCam** to import SVG files, generate toolpaths, and export G-code for machining.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and materials accurately to meet design requirements.
- Monitor machines during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to improve machining processes and outputs.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks.
- Uphold safety standards and follow company policies at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a workshop or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with **MakerCam** or similar CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Carbide Create).
- Solid understanding of G-code and CNC toolpath logic.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Familiarity with materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, or composite materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications or trade school training preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a prototyping or custom fabrication environment.
- Comfort with both manual and CNC machining.
- Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Inkscape, AutoCAD) to assist in file preparation for MakerCam.
- Forklift or shop equipment certification (a plus).

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
