The Defined Benefits and Actuarial Services practice within Consulting is composed of a dedicated group of nation-wide professionals with extensive experience in the fields of pension & savings and actuarial consulting. We specialize in providing strategic guidance, expert analysis, and effective risk management to help our clients offer the best pension plan for their plan members. With a deep understanding of complex mathematical models and statistical analysis, our team excels in assessing and quantifying risks in the retirement landscape. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

What you’ll do- Actively participate in the production of actuarial valuations for funding purposes as well as data analysis to assess the financial health of pension plans- Actively participate in the production of actuarial valuations for accounting purposes to determine the year-end information to be disclosed in our clients’ financial statements- Calculate various benefits and produce required communications in compliance with plan rules, government regulations, and actuarial principles- Exchange with clients and stakeholders, ensuring to communicate relevant information and provide appropriate follow-up- Assist in the implementation and costing of strategic recommendations for plan design and restructure we provide to our clients

You have- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field- Solid competency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Good oral and written communication skills in French (proficiency in English is an added advantage)- Strong interest in problem solving and the acquisition of knowledge
