**The **Role**:
The Contracts Manager will perform various duties, including but not limited to, evaluating and drafting quotations; drafting, negotiating, and finalizing a all kinds of commercial agreements; ensuring that the applicable review and approval processes are followed; and that the agreements are uploaded into the contract management system. This position will report to Legal but will work very closely with the entire team including sales, engineering, operations, order management and legal.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Analyze, review, and negotiate terms and conditions of various types of contracts under attorney supervision such as purchase and sale contracts, project service agreements, subcontractor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements in compliance with the company's policies.
- Analyze, review, and negotiate commercial bid documentation for EPC project bids under attorney supervision, including the preparation of contract deviations, managing negotiations.
- Preparing project specific forms and supporting the negotiation and implementation of subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Comprehensive contract management responsibilities, including maintaining up-to-the-minute status of all contracts outstanding or in negotiation, maintaining electronic copies of all contracts and related legal documents, and coordination with business unit clients to ensure compliance with established contract procedures.
- Request or prepare amendments to or extensions of contracts.
- Assist in development of special contract language and custom agreements to meet project needs. Developing and managing database for contract terms and conditions.
- Assist in development, maintenance and operation of an accurate contract tracking and management process.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience negotiating, drafting, preparing and managing quotations and contracts relating to manufacturing, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational, planning and prioritization skills, with high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to provide concise commercial advice in a timely manner to the business.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Proven ability to build and foster positive relationships and networks.
