The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province. We are currently seeking a Full time/Part time Childcare Worker to support Foster Homes in Regina SK.

This diverse position performs many tasks that include, but are not limited to childcare, meal preparation, house keeping and/or transportation to family visits or activities outside the home.

The successful applicant will be flexible in order to successfully meet the changing demands in the workplace. The chosen applicant will also be confident, self-motivated and an individual who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and who is courteous and attentive to detail.

Additionally, you will be a team player that is willing to help out as needed. You will be open and accepting of change and be open to continuous learning opportunities.

(2) positions available:
**Job Type**: Part time 23hrs per week ( Evening 5days a week including weekends)

**Job Type**: Part time 10hrs per week ( Tue & Thur 6pm-9pm Sat 10am-2pm)

Qualifications:

- Applicants will have their ECE or Youth Care Worker certification.
- Experience working in the field of childcare/early childhood development, preference will be given to applicants who have training, skills and/or experience working with children with a range of developmental delays and diverse challenges
- Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with children, supervisors, and partnering agencies and maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
- Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Criminal records Check (Within 3 Months)

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 per hour; Health Benefits may be available after 3 months of employment
