We operate two (2) adjoining hotel properties - Sheraton Parkway Toronto North and Best Western Parkway hotels, conveniently located on the north east corner of Highway & and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill. Readily accessible by highways 7, 404 and 407. Public transit (YRT/Viva) stops in front of hotel.

**CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA**

The Houseperson has the responsibility to maintain high standards of cleanliness inside the hotel. The duties of Houseperson are, but not limited to the following;
- Ensure public areas are cleaned as per brand standards
- Replenish supplies in linen rooms
- Report faulty equipment in related areas immediately
- Respond to house calls in timely manner
- Clean and maintain public washrooms
- In emergency situations, as required, must clean rooms as per ABC;s of housekeeping
- Assist with stripping and/or cleaning of guest rooms as/when required
- Must obtain 95% cleaning scores in guest rooms
- Must be available all shifts - evenings, mornings and weekends and all seven days.
- Other duties as may be assigned

Physical Demands: Excessive standing, walking, bending, lifting

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employee
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset
- Must be flexible with shift availability (mid shifts, evenings, overnights and weekends)

**Job Types**: Permanent, Internship / Co-op, Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.25 per hour
