Regional Fire Services is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shop Technician.

This hands-on role requires a self-motivated individual with mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include maintaining and servicing fire protection equipment while continuously learning and developing new skills.

This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, is self motivated and wants to acquire the knowledge required to advance in the field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Service/maintain fire extinguishers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Inspect, distribute, organize, and repair fire protection equipment
- Prepare and organize customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and efficient
- Assist field service technicians as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflow

Previous fire industry experience is an asset.

- **Strong mechanical aptitude and** **ability to work with tools**:

- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks thoroughly without supervision
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of following precise procedures
- Ability to work well in customer-facing situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment as required up to and exceeding 50lbs
- A valid driver’s license is required
