**Steele Auto Group** is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Clerk** to join our team In this role, you'll play a key role in keeping our finances running smoothly while developing your accounting skills and gaining experience in the automotive industry. Your organization and attention to detail will help keep things running smoothly and make every day productive and rewarding.

**Location**: Based on-site at our brand new Volvo dealership in Bayers Lake Business Park, you'll get to work in a bright, modern, and state-of-the-art facility that makes work feel just a little more exciting.

**Competitive Wage Range: $19.70 - $23.00 per hour**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, code, and enter vendor invoices with accuracy—keeping our finances running smoothly.
- Work with department managers to coordinate invoice approvals and quickly address any questions.
- Connect with vendors to resolve invoice or statement discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Keep an eye on outstanding cheques and follow up when needed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and related party payables to ensure everything balances.
- Prepare outgoing cheques and EFTs for approval and submission.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Handling around 2,300 vendor invoices each month, keeping everything organized and accurate.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with computerized accounting systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with automated accounts payable software, especially YOOZ, is an advantage.
