- **Responsibilities**
- Accountable for Inbound, Outbound materials flows and inventory control at Husky Bolton campus as well as close coordination with multiple, offsite inventory locations in the GTA area
- The role will be responsible for managing multiple warehousing and staging locations, receiving areas and line-feeding points in a safe and efficient manner within the Bolton manufacturing campus ensuring the prestaging area of the Assembly Operations is always primed with project inventory, at the right quality
- Ensures manufacturing project order are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials to production lines is in sync with production schedules and to quality standards
- Develops & implements effective & efficient processes for cleaning, preparing, pre-staging & marshalling including the creation of Control Plans
- Accountable for WOM KPI's performance management and continuous improvement
- Manages multiple shifts of warehouse and line-feeding operations
- Accountable for ensuring a safe working environment for all Husky & contract employees
- Accountable for Warehouse Operations process quality and partnering with other functions for Total Quality improvement
- Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met thru the aligning WOM processes to the Husky Operating Model (HOM)
- Responsible for ensuring Husky values are present in the facilities the role manages
- Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
- Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations as well as inventory control
- Lead Weekly & Monthly Business Meetings review with 3PL partners and Husky Cross-Functional Stakeholders
- Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Uses PFEP in planning, designing, and management of systems and processes within the warehouse to ensure delivery of right part at the right time in the right quantity to the right place, which in turn guarantees smooth operations; applies PFEP principles with particular attention to the relationships between master data management, materials planning parameters, engineered material flows and warehouse management
- Warehouse Data Extraction and Analysis - Extracts, transforms, models, interprets, and presents planning data with the goal of mining useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting value creating decision making ensuring data integrity of all analytics and reports
- Master Data Management - Determines the source of master data (bill-of-material, disposition code, planner code, etc.) ensuring changes are updated at the origin rather than downstream system(s); tracks, monitors, and improves the quality of master data feeding into the demand and supply plan
