Key Requirements
- Must be able to work rotating shift schedules
- Must be able to commute to Bolton

Responsible for a variety of production activities, completing duties in a timely manner to assure production needs are met on a daily basis in the most cost effective manner.

**Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability**:

- Specific duties may include and are not limited to:

- Attend and participate in daily production meetings
- Assist in eliminating and root causing material issues found within Assembly
- Support Andon light process and team members
- Ensure required material is delivered to Assembly on-time
- Facilitate daily production release meeting with Materials team
- Monitor project shortages, manage rush orders and specials shipments
- Maintain liaisons with customers, suppliers, vendors, carriers, superiors & peers to ensure production requirements are satisfied
- Provide assistance/training to team members
- Monitor production releases through all project stages
- Manage and monitor non-conforming inventory warehouses & locations
- Monitoring inventory and unissued parts and making adjustments to assure accuracy, if applicable
- Initiate and Participate in WIG (Wildly Important Goals) and Continuous Improvement activities
- Strong understanding of department metrics, with the ability to root cause and drive corrective actions
- Recommend new policies and procedures as required

**Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter and team player who can work with little supervision
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Baan, Business Objects Report Queries
- Advanced knowledge of machinery moving practices and rigging tools
- Certified Forklift Operator Certificate
- Certified Overhead Crane Operator Certificate

**Education**:
College Diploma an asset or equivalent work experience

**Related Experience**
- 2 years of Baan experience an asset
- 4 years experience in Shipping/Receiving preferably in a Manufacturing environment
