Responsible for managing financial and administrative duties.** **Scope of this Position** v This position will be responsible for managing/overseeing all F&B operations within the resort. v Requires a minimum of 4 year(s) of managerial experience. v Requires a minimum of 7 year(s) of experience. v Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality. v Position will be required to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. **Job Requirements** - **Technical Requirements**:_ v Day to day operations with professional, high service standards. v Track record of building golf outlet volume and average checks. v Experience with high volume Restaurant operations. v Experience implementing new F&B concepts. v Track record of developing profitable F&B promotions. v Experience developing, costing, pricing, and merchandising menus. v Establish and maintain proper inventories. v Build beverage volume. v Strong knowledge of food, wines and spirts. v Orders supplies for the department (e.g., china, glass, silver, buffet presentations, props and other service equipment needs) - **Leadership Requirements**:_ v Ability to manage change effectively. v Ability to conceptualize monthly/yearly goals of the property and provide leadership to the Restaurant & Banquet departments to achieve their goals & objectives. v Communicate goals and objectives and inspire, train and develop employees for promotion as warranted. v Ensure employee awareness of on-site guest feedback to provide effective corrections and improved service standards - **Managerial Requirements**:_ v Clear & concise written and verbal communication, along with strong administrative skills. v Set high professional standards for consistent overall day to day operations. v Professional and effective guest resolution. v Preparing and processing all paperwork, reports and SOP’s in a timely efficient manner. v Interview, evaluate, and discipline staff. v Track record of building and encouraging an atmosphere of teamwork. v Demonstrate ability to lead by example. v Abilities to inspire, train, build morale and develop people for promotion. v Use a "hands-on" approach to management. v Delegating where appropriate to encourage learning and development of assistants. v Experience training and cross-training employees for career progression. v Instill a guest service attitude in all employees. v Coach employees how to resolve and de-escalate conflicts. v Instill a calm, organized approach in all situations. v To train all staff in health and safety. v To carry out any and all directives of other duties directed to him/her from the owners. - **Business Requirements**:_ v Excellent time management skills. v Work with limited support. v Strong organizational skills. v Excellent knowledge of computers/programs. v Strong customer service orientation and skills. v Exceptional detail & consistency in timely follow-up. v Strong budgetary, projections, and cost control skills. v Ability to produce consistent profits. v Solid scheduling experience. v Follow/enforce company & HR policies and procedures. v Resolve problems. v Assume responsibility/accountability. v Excellent health & safety and sanitation skills. v Understand security requirements. v Create courteous, friendly, professional work environment. v Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action. v Think creatively. v Teach suggestive selling techniques. v Forecasting skills. v Balance needs of company and owner.
