These students may be those living with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, mobility or functional disabilities, sensory or communication disabilities, and/or neurological disabilities. To ensure successful educational outcomes for students experiencing disabilities, the Accessibility Learning Strategist's responsibility includes assessment of needs, preparation and maintenance of records, recommendation of intervention strategies, liaising with students, faculty, and the Office of Student Experience (OSE) to provide academic accommodations, and management of a caseload of students.
