Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prospecting: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential clients.
- Team work: Work Actively with Pre sales engineers on technical proposal
- Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct meetings ( online and in-person) with prospective clients to understand their needs and present our solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with leads and prospects to convert them into customers.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with the vendors we represent and their sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
- Trade Show Participation: Identify relevant trade shows and potentially participate to showcase our products and services.
- RFP Monitoring: Monitor RFP (Request for Proposal) websites for potential business opportunities.
- Bilingual Communication: Communicate effectively in both English and French, ensuring all sales materials are available in both languages.
**Requirements**:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Excellent research skills to support market analysis efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Interest in Technology and Environmental science is a plus.
