Benchmark Developments Limited, a real estate development company, is seeking a skilled and dedicated **Carpenter**and a **Building Technician** to join our team. We build and manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Truro, NS. If you have a passion for carpentry and building maintenance, and you thrive in a professional environment, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including renovations, framing, drywall, finishing, repairs, and painting.
- Address and resolve building maintenance issues, including: electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. (experience an asset)
- Collaborate with property management and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Comply with all company policies and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter +/or building technician.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Must be currently able to work in Nova Scotia.

**What We Offer**:

- Competitive wage based on skill and experience. ($20 - $30 per hr)
- Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
