**Hotel General Manager**

Welcome to the Quality Inn/Travelodge in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We are located close to the action and one of the most centrally located places to visit. We are currently seeking a motivated General Manager who will be responsible for the hotel and restaurant, leading the operations of all departments to meet financial goals and uphold customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring maximization of revenue by effectively managing reservations.
- Reviews and maintains accurate records of the hotel’s funds and information, including but not limited to, accounts receivable and payable, cash reconciliations.
- Responsible for dealing with the franchiser on software support or any other matters related to the franchise agreement.
- Reports to management periodically regarding sales and revenue and recommend ideas on the growth of the company.
- Engage in the ongoing development of the employees while holding them accountable for performance and maintaining standards.
- Monitor daily labour and other payroll reports related to the time clock, hours worked, and overtime to ensure operational needs and goals are met by the Hotel.
- Answers employee and guest inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
- Must appropriately address guest requests to ensure guests are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
- Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
- Conducts periodical (daily, weekly, or quarterly) team meetings to address immediate or long-term issues/opportunities, provide direction and drive improvement actions.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of Hotel Management experience with a franchised establishment.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Business is an asset.
- Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, research, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
