We do this by bringing the best of western medicine together with our traditional healing practices and values.

**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, Cleaners provide cleaning and laundry services to all areas of the Healing Centre, including client rooms, common areas, meeting rooms, offices according to approved schedules and common cabins with required.

This job description provides a general overview of the duties and responsibilities of the Cleaner. In addition to the job description, more detailed lists of job duties and responsibilities may be available. The policies and procedures of the Healing Centre and the Nation further describe the performance and behavioural expectations of all employees.

**Hours of Work**

Regular hours will be Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm. Total 37.5 hours weekly, 8 hours per day with ½ unpaid lunch break.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Under the direction of the Lead Cleaner, Cleaners provide cleaning and other services, including but not limited to:

- Cleaning client rooms according to residential care standards and within the approved schedules
- Cleaning of common areas, meeting rooms, dining room area, meeting rooms and offices according to residential care standards and within approved schedules
- Completes all OHS activities designated for the cleaning team within approved timelines
- All cleaning and laundry services as required for commonly used cabins
- Ensuring the laundry room is keep tidy and all supplies and linens are appropriately cleaned, sanitized and stored according to OHS and residential care standards.
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, especially those related to cleaning and hygiene services
- All other duties as assigned or required
