About Us:
We are an exciting, energetic restaurant delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced and friendly environment. We are looking for passionate servers who are enthusiastic, service-driven, and ideally have experience working at Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill or a similar premium casual dining establishment.
Position Overview:
As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing guests with warm, attentive, and professional service. You will be responsible for ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Previous experience at Turtle Jack’s (or a similar environment) is a strong asset.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and enter them into the POS system efficiently.
- Make menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and ensure quality and accuracy.
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle cash and card transactions securely and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Participate in opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
- Provide a positive, high-energy atmosphere that reflects our brand and culture.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of serving experience in a fast-paced, premium casual dining environment (Turtle Jack’s experience strongly preferred).
- Smart Serve certification (or provincial equivalent) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktail service is an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.55-$20.15 per hour
