A Gantrex SSC is responsible for selling and execution of the products and installation services of the Gantrex group within a defined territory. The SSC Ajax territory currently includes Canada and it’s territories, the Caribbean countries including Puerto Rico, and selected areas in the US which border key Canada sales offices currently defined as Western New York, Michigan, Northwest Ohio, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

Currently SSC Ajax consists of 10 sales and service employees with a revenue budget of €5.7M with a near-term plan to increase the team by 4-5 employees to support the current budget and future. Like all Gantrex SSC’s, SSC Ajax will be expected to grow its revenue and profitability based on market conditions and group strategies.

As SSC GM you will report directly to the North American Executive VP and be responsible for leading the SSC Ajax in the development a local business plan and growth strategies within the group guidelines and strategic initiatives having full responsibility of the P/L and EBITA goals for the SSC. You will be supported by an North America Business Unit organization that report directly to Ex VP including, Finance, HR, and Technical Departments as well as the Group OPC’s (Operations and Production Centers)

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Develop and maintain an annual sales and operating budget.
- Have full P&L responsibility for the SSC within the approved budget.
- Develop and maintain the SSC organization to meet the budget and operational goals and adopt local strategies to maximize the company’s growth and profitability.
- Being aware of and kept up to date on internal and external forces that could impact overall economic landscape for the SSC or Gantrex Group.
- Assist the Ex VP as requested in finding expansion opportunities or other objective to support growth.
- Be part of the North America Management Team as directed by the Executive VP
- Contribute to the sales and services area of business to add to the BU profitability.
- Have final signatory responsibilities for sales and services contracts within the Gantrex Group Guidelines.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree

10 years + experience in rail, industrial service, or construction preferred.
