Warehouse Operative/supervisor

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative/Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, and shelves.
- Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees' performance.
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative procedures or adjust existing work practices.

Requirements and skills:

- Good organizational skills, highly effective supervisory skills, and techniques.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data. Literacy & numeracy.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Self-motivated, upbeat, and energized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration

This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast-paced and energized environment relies on organization and efficiency and with so much ground to cover in the line of duty it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
