Flat Rock Cellars is an estate winery located in Jordan, Ontario and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. is a craft lager house situated in Dundas, Ontario. **The Role**: It is an exciting time at Flat Rock Cellars and Shawn & Ed Brewing Company A lot has happened in the last few years; from a massive winery renovation to a full rebrand including the development of striking new beer packaging.

We have an opportunity for someone to join the team and support our marketing efforts as we work to spread the word about all this exciting growth. We’re looking for someone with an incredible passion for marketing, creative writing skills, detail oriented administrative abilities and a keen eye for social media to join our team. This person will have the opportunity to work equally with both companies and learn the ins-and-outs of the wine and beer industries.

This is an in-person, full-time position that will work collaboratively with both companies to enhance the quality and quantity of our marketing. There will be required travel to the winery in Jordan and brewery in Dundas each week. This role reports to the Business Development Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
**Marketing**
- Develop and execute marketing materials to enhance brand awareness and elevate brand perception.
- Maintain accurate information updates across product sheets, sales documents, and digital databases.
- Regular updates to website content. Event promotion, search engine optimization, overall design and aesthetic.
- Develop external marketing partnerships with influencers and like-minded companies with the goal of broadening brand reach and exposure.
- Media mailing. Work closely with Business Development team to liaise with journalists, writers and critics by sending regular communications and sample packages. Drive the desired messaging through third-party endorsement.
- Drive new traffic and engagement to physical establishments, partners (such as LCBO, key licensee partners) and our digital platforms.

**Administration**
- Control the sourcing, ordering, storage and inventory of marketing materials.
- Regular updates to back-end reporting to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Inter-department calendar management to ensure all parties are adhering to timelines and working together to maximize results.

**Content Creation**
- Think outside the box.
- Produce original content including video, LinkedIn, press releases, social media, blogs and more. Turn Flat Rock Cellars and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. into industry thought leaders.
- Develop a consistent social media strategy to increase community and connection across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc).
- Uphold brand voice and vision across all social media platforms.
- Work with other departments to create and maintain a content calendar that clearly maps out content and copy in advance.
- Develop and nurture new ways of communicating with our existing audience.
- Proactively presents ways to grow the business, followers, new channels etc
- Manage and respond to all inquiries and comments on social media accounts.

- You can safely lift 40 lbs. and are comfortable conducting tastings on patio areas during our hot, steamy summers.
- You will work weekends, holidays and evenings on occasion, when required.

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
