Elia Associates PC provides a full range of Post-Development Condominium Law services to condominium corporations throughout Ontario. We see ourselves as unique in terms of the level of service we provide to our clients, our volunteerism within the condominium community locally and at a national level, and internally in creating a nurturing environment and having put together a team of extraordinarily talented lawyers, clerks and support staff.
We are seeking an exceptional individual with knowledge of the ever-changing world of marketing to join our team in Centertown Ottawa. We see this new addition as providing a fresh perspective and personality to our brand and message as we strive to reach a wider audience across Ontario. **Primary roles**
**Marketing**:
- Managing social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and all other relevant social media platforms
- Creating both digital and physical marketing material
- Curating merchandise to Elia Associates needs
- Creating and managing marketing materials for upcoming courses and events
- Work with stakeholders inside and outside the organization, tracking and managing sponsorship packages and team memberships
- Creating and completing marketing campaigns
- Annual reporting and management of the businesses marketing plan
- Assist in the coordination of the monthly webinar series
- Creating a monthly newsletter
- Coordinator law firm attendance and booths at events/conferences
- Uploading and managing website content, calendar, articles, etc.
**Administration**:
- Property management; managing staff, and tenants and organizing building maintenance, ordering supplies.
- Posting and maintaining hiring ads
**Supporting Roles**:
- Copying / binding / delivery arrangement
- Creating invoices and running cheques to the bank
- Answering calls when reception is absent
- Manage Vacation Calendar
- Tech communication support: Working with third-party tech companies to assist with the firm’s tech needs (phone, IT technology, internet) on a regular basis.
- Providing basic administrative overflow support to other lawyers and clerks within the firm
**Key Skills**:
- Experience using MailChimp
- Canva, Hootsuite, and Adobe create & other content creating software
- Experience with Asana
- Experience with google-analytics and creating google ads
- Marketing & Social Media skills
- Video-making experience, previously used Movavi would be an asset
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills (knowledge of Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Effective in all things Zoom and experience with virtual webinars.
- Typing (50+ WPM minimum)
- Computer skills (knowledge of Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Communication - written and oral [English only; however, French would be considered an asset]
- Spelling and Grammar (competent proof-reader/document drafter) [English]
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as a team or independently, follow instructions and take responsibility for work assigned
- Organization
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- administrative assistant: 2 years (preferred)
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- French (preferred)
