The Corporate Services Department - Information Technology Division is looking for a temporary full-time Technical Services Specialist for approximately two years.
You will create and maintain documentation, design and develop new solutions, configure solutions, conduct upgrades and manage and maintain the M365 environment. You will also assist the Client Services team and Service Desk in complex issues, troubleshooting and liaise with internal and external vendors.
You will be a seasoned team player with proven communication skills, and have a detail oriented and proactive approach to supporting the City’s IT, along with the ability to work independently. You thrive in a collaborative environment. Keeping current on technological trends and developments is a passion.
For temporary full-time positions of 8 months or longer, a City employee who is successful on the posting will have the right to revert to their former position.
**Salary**:
$50.13 to $59.23 per hour
(Pay Grade 28 - January 2024 rates)
**Hours of Work**:
Any 7 consecutive hours between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and may also be scheduled for a regular shift on Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., exclusive of meal breaks. The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) approximately each three-week scheduling cycle.
