Join us as a Financial Institutions Group FIG) Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays Canada where you will have the chance to join our collaborative and supportive team and contribute to high-profile transactions. As an analyst of the group, you will conduct in-depth industry, company research, and build complex financial models and valuation analysis. You will prepare client presentations, marketing materials and support senior bankers in executing transactions.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.
To be successful in this role you should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, engineering, or computer science and have a strong record of academic and professional accomplishments
You should have experience building financial models and analyzing transactions, a deep understanding of financial statements and key metrics related to evaluating businesses
You will bring your communication skills and the ability to interact with clients as you work on multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders
