The Ottawa Centre for Cognitive Therapy is seeking a Psychotherapist or Psychological Associate with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training and orientation.

**Salary**: $90,000 per year - Full-time, Permanent

**About the CCT**

The Ottawa Centre for Cognitive Therapy is a dynamic private clinic. The Centre was established in 1995 and has steadily grown over the past 28 years. It is currently a very busy therapy centre, providing approximately 10,000 therapy sessions to the community each year. There are currently 13 therapists (4 Psychotherapists and 9 Psychologists). All therapists receive weekly scheduled supervision and professional development consultation. The workplace atmosphere is very collegial with social opportunities to get to know your colleagues.

The yearly salary of $90,000 is based on full-time employment, and seeing an average of 25 client hours per week. Hours can be negotiated with the directors.
- No Overhead Expenses_

Each therapist is provided their own personal furnished office with extensive administrative support. The Centre employs an administrative staff highly experienced in all administrative details involved in managing a private clinic. Administrative staff at the Centre must have completed at least an undergraduate University degree. The 6 full time administrative staff are regularly complimented by clients for their helpfulness. Scheduling, appointment reminders and cancellations are managed with an extensive, customized database.

**Requirements**:

- Have completed a clinical MA in Psychology, or equivalent
- Have completed their clinical internships
- Be registered, or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario or the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Have training and a key interest in CBT
- Have a commitment to further developing their therapy skills within a CBT orientation
- Have a dedication to integrating an academic orientation with clinical practice
- Enjoy working in a collegial workplace atmosphere
- Eligible to work in Canada
- English essential
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
