We are seeking a scholar with a strong research profile in any area of counselling, counselling psychology, career counselling, vocational guidance, or other related fields.The successful candidate must hold a doctorate in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or in the field of career and guidance counseling. Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) would be considered an asset. More information about our Counselling Psychology program can be found here: .Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to:- Conduct and disseminate high-quality research, with a strong record (or clear potential) of peer-reviewed publications and success in securing external funding.- Supervise and mentor graduate students in French in counselling psychology.- Teach courses in French within the Counselling Psychology concentration.- Contribute actively to the Faculty of Education and the University of Ottawa community.- Demonstrate potential for significant scholarly impact in the field of Counselling Psychology.The functions of a member of the academic faculty include, in varying proportions: a) teaching activities; b) scholarly activities in the form of research, artistic or literacy creation, or professional work; c) academic service activities; and d) supervision of graduate students.Terms: New tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
