Prairieview Surgical Centre, a division of Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for a full-time Facility Custodian.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean and disinfect operating rooms in between surgical cases.
- Remove and dispose of garbage, recycling, soiled linen, and biohazard waste
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility and various general facility maintenance.
- End of day stock replenishment in operating rooms
- Help with facility stocking.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a medical facility an asset
- A minimum of grade 10 education.
- A comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and demonstrate a professional and caring approach in dealing with patients, co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality relating to patients, colleagues and the operations of the facility
- Must be capable of working under pressure and performing a wide range of duties that may require independent action
- Fluent in written and verbal English with strong communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Basic computer skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to lift/push/pull more than 25 pounds.
