**Financial Controller**

We are seeking a Financial Controller to manage all our finances. Your responsibilities will include tracking our organization’s revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports. You will also be responsible for auditing our books to ensure our records are correct

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and utility, tax, and other bills
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents
- Prepare the government remittance reports
- File the HST/GST, payroll remittance, WSIB report, etc.
- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems and prepare financial information for individuals, departments within organizations, businesses, and other establishments
- Maintains general ledger by entering data into QuickBooks
- Examine accounting records and prepare financial statements and reports
- Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting, and internal control procedures
- Examine financial accounts and records and prepare income tax returns from accounting records
- Analyze financial statements and reports and provide financial, business, and tax advice
- Complies with federal and provincial accounting requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports with government authorities

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
