North Vancouver BC VP B, Canada West Van Irrigation and Landscape Lighting Full time

West Van Irrigation (WVI) is seeking a General Labourer for the Winter season to join our North Shore team. We are a systems-driven company that values reliability, technical aptitude, and a proactive mindset.

While this role begins as a seasonal position, we are looking for long-term partners. High-performing individuals in this role will be eligible for a transition into an Irrigation Installer or Technician Trainee position by March 2026.

Position Overview

This is a seasonal opportunity supporting our Snow Removal and Lighting divisions. This is a great opportunity for hard-working individuals, who enjoy working outdoors despite weather challenges and looking for part-time or casual employment, with a potential to transition into a full-time role by March, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Support: Assist Lead Technicians with snow clearing operations and winter service jobs.
  • Logistics: Manage truck stocking, site cleanup, and material transport.
  • Operational Excellence: Attend daily morning briefings and commit to ongoing on-the-job coaching.

About You

  • Physically Resilient: You have experience with demanding outdoor labour (snow clearing, landscaping, or construction) and thrive in challenging weather.
  • Highly Coachable: You have a strong learning aptitude and want to move beyond general labour into technical skills.
  • Team Oriented: You have high standards for yourself and respect for your teammates.
  • Detail Driven: You can follow complex verbal instructions and maintain precision in your work.
  • Mobile: You possess a Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required).
