Our Customer Success team seeks a dynamic and motivated Strategic Customer Success Manager to align with our customers' desired business outcomes, to enable their use cases, and to work with them to expand to broader nutritious product usage, ensuring ongoing and ever-improving customer return-on-investment.

**About the role**:
As a trusted advisor, you’ll have a direct impact on our customers’ success to guide and assist them to gain the most value from our product. You will manage our most critical customer relationships driving your accounts to ever higher levels of engagement, usage, and satisfaction by acting as an expert-level resource in the bioinformatics field.
Your mission will be:
- Develop deep, long-term, trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
- Drive cross-functional programs and initiatives to support the scaling of the business and integrate the customer success engagement processes with teams throughout Seqera.
- Engage with customers on requirements, developing project deliverables and coordinating the execution of implementation and engineering projects.
- Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
- With a bias for action, you'll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from our product.
- Build Seqera brand awareness and loyalty in assigned accounts.
- Collaborate internally with sales, customer success, product management and engineering teams to drive alignment and advocate on behalf of your clients.
- Communicate the status and issues of key accounts across the organization to assist with driving a customer success mentality and approach.
About you. We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a similar role as a Strategic Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect etc or a role with an equivalent history of increasing satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
- Familiarity working with customers of all sizes, especially large enterprise organizations. Strong preference for biotech/bioinformatics experience and Life Sciences industry knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate and clearly explain technology to different audiences, through code, writing, presentations and demos.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Understand operational parameters and troubleshooting for a combination of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.
- Solid technical understanding of cloud, devops and new stack technologies,
- Professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of the Nextflow language and the pipeline development approaches adopted by nf-core would be ideal.
