We are looking for energetic, motivated, and career-minded **Construction Workers** to join our team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for various physical labor tasks, operating hand and power tools, and machinery related to the industry. Your duties will include assembling products using bolts, screws, clips, soldering tools, and assorted fasteners. Efficiency and adherence to safety protocols and workplace policies are crucial.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble metal components into industrial air handling equipment
- Fabricate metal and fiber insulation wall panel systems
- Follow design drawings to rivet, screw, or weld parts into larger components
- **Operate overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and work at heights**:

- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- **Mechanically inclined** with auto repair or maintenance skills preferred
- Welding experience considered an asset
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Quick learner with the ability to follow directions
- Able to read and interpret design drawings or blueprints
- Basic numeracy skills and ability to perform basic imperial system math
- Experience using cordless or pneumatic hand tools
- Experience with metal fabrication considered an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor

**Work Conditions**:

- Indoor factory environment
- Use of a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment required (e.g., safety boots and gloves) Ear plugs and safety glasses provided
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, humidity, and dust
- Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination required
- Loud noise level
- Excellent stamina required
- Hazards associated with the industry

**Shifts: Rotates weekly**:

- DAY Shift: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM
- NIGHT Shift: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Overhead crane Operating: 1 year (preferred)
- Scissor lifts operating: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
