**Responsibilities**:

**Position Details**:Nextgen Tank Inspection is recruiting for 3 experienced Tank Inspectors with API 653 Certification to support projects across Canada.

**Work Location**: Based out of Calgary, AB but travel required throughout Canada.

**Terms of Employment**: Permanent, Fulltime

**Benefits**:

- Extended health and dental benefits will be provided after 90 days.
- Emergency medical coverage will be provided if required until the 90 days period is met, or a provincial health card is obtained.
- RRSP and/or contributions are matched up to company plan limits following 6 months of continuous employment.
- Per diem, accommodations, transportation/flights are provided when working away from the base of operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standard 653.
- Organize and report test results.
- Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
- Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.
- Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues.
- May instruct and supervise trainees.
- Fully comply with all Nextgen and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field.
- 3+ years of experience performing tank fiekld inspections.
- API 653 certification.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Strong work ethics.
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.
- Ability to travel for work across Canada.
- Valid driver's license.
