**Audio Visual (Teleconferencing) Technician - Intermediate Level Position**

**Please note the salary is negotiable for this role**

**Location**: Toronto, Ontario

**Role**

If you love to work on configuring and installing complex AV systems that focus on video conferencing and collaboration solutions, this is the team and organization for you. The Audio Video Technician will have experience in the AV field, have an appetite for learning and a desire to be part of a great organization.

**Responsibilities**
- Installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to installing connectors, mounting projectors and monitors
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
- Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues

**Qualifications**
- Experience in digital enterprise installation is required - ideally 3+ years in the AV field
- Previous experience in home theatre and residential installations and/or working with digital signage is an asset
- Previous experience in basic carpentry or framing experience is an asset
- Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience with troubleshooting or operating Control Systems & DSP’s
- Certifications in CTS or CTS-I or related field is an asset
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. Travel requirements approximately 25% a year and can fluctuate based on business needs.
