Department: Human Resources Job Title/ Function Human Resources Administrator Country/ Location Canada -Woodstock Plant **Overall Responsibility** Responsible for providing a consistently high standard of administrative support to the human resources and support staff. Other responsibilities will include providing assistance in the organization of the overall workload and ensure the effective use of labour and resources to assist in the smooth running of the department. **ACCOUNTABILITIES** Understand, promote and live by ArcelorMittal’s Core Values. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Process Group Benefit Programs' enrollment and changes. - Participate in the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for the Woodstock plant. - Maintain employee personnel files and update information in the HRIS system. - Monitor and update postings on the company bulletin boards. - Process employment verifications - Oversee the administration of the employee uniform program. - Responsible for orders for Office, kitchen supplies - Maintain confidentiality and trust through positive employee relations. - Provide timely responses to the needs and questions of employees. - Assist in creating a culture of fair treatment and positive employee relations. - Assist with the claims disability management system (LTD, STD, WSIB). - Complete employees pay and benefit survey information. - Manage the vacation tracking of all AMTB Woodstock employees. - Remain current with legislative requirements & compliance. - Assist in scheduling and maintaining all training records. - Update Job Profiles as required. - Plan and organize social functions - Administer the employee allowance system (safety shoe, safety glasses). - Assist third parties in obtaining work visas as required. - Assist with budget preparation and maintenance. - Ensure that all staff are adhering the Core Values of AMTB. - Ensure front desk is attended to by ensuring visitors are greeted, signed in and informed about AMTB visitor protocol. - Receive and forward calls received on general phone line. - Fulfill the Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities identified in the Canadian HSE Management Standards and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Management Systems. - Fulfill the Quality Management System responsibilities identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map. - Fulfill the responsibilities as identified in the Employee Handbooks. - Perform any other reasonable assignments given by Management. - Strong team player with ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams." - Other duties as assigned.
