**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead the AWP (Advance Work Package) implementation and manage the activities and deliverables for a successful AWP Program;
- Coordinate between all disciplines and functions to ensure all requirements are being met;
- Coordinate, schedule, facilitate and chair AWP Lessons Learned sessions. Capture AWP Lessons Learned in the project Log;
- Implement Continuous Improvement practices over the project AWP Program;
- Owner of the CWA plot plan and EWP/CWP matrix;
- Provides AWP scope and requirements for ITT development for Construction Contractors, assess Contractor AWP program and ensures it meets the Project AWP Program intent. Leads the Construction Contractor to successfully execute the AWP Implementation Plan;
- Coordinate and ensure training for all disciplines and functions;
- Coordinate, schedule, and chair daily, weekly, and monthly AWP meetings;
- The mission of the Planner/Schedule is to promote AWP, the AWP objectives, reinforce the AWP strategy, assure the effective implementation of the AWP Program/Implementation Plan (including training and communication), define, measure, track and report the AWP Program KPIs, capture and communicate lessons learned and keep all stakeholders aligned;
- Track and report progress of EWPs, CWPs and IWPs and own the AWP Program;
- Ensure the Project’s AWP Implementation Plan, Processes and Procedures are complete and up to date and effective;
- Ensure the AWP Surveillance Plan and Audit Protocols are established and followed. Responsible for developing and administering the AWP Surveillance Plan, Audit Protocols;
- Be actively involved in the Interactive Planning Sessions through all phases of the project and be ready to intervene in any problems related to stake holders not supporting or needing clarification of the Project AWP Implementation Plan, Processes and Procedures;
- Ensure all mandatory training courses of all stakeholders meet the intent of the Project’s AWP Program and follow-up to ensure the stakeholders are following the processes through the AWP Surveillance Plan and Audit Protocols. Responsible for developing and administering the AWP Training Program;
- Actively support all stakeholders and work to align the stakeholders in the goal of successfully implementing the AWP Program throughout the Project;
- Actively participate in Integrated Planning Sessions to ensure professional construction input is incorporated into the Path of Construction;
- Ensure construction resources are invited and actively participate in the Integrated Planning Sessions;
- Ensure the aspects of the AWP are followed and notify the Construction Manager when non
- conformance issues are identified. Ensure that all construction contracts clearly specify that the Contractor is required to implement AWP. The contracts should reference procedures the Contractor is expected to follow and listing all inputs/deliverables the Contractor is required to provide;
- Ensure all contracts include terms and conditions that will ensure compliance with the AWP Program for the project;
- Lead the Change Management involved with implementing the AWP Program;
- Report to Owner’s Construction Manager on status of stakeholder alignment and any necessary actions needed for improvement;
- Report AWP performance and progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to the Owner’s Construction Manager;
- Coordinate, schedule and lead daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly AWP meetings. Accountable for capturing and maintaining meeting minutes and Rolling Action Items Logs (RAILs) for these meetings;
- Coordinate, schedule and lead the AWP 30-60-90 Day Planning meeting on a weekly basis;
- Ensure O3 is being implemented as AWP Digital Tool for work-packaging, constraint management, Hands on Tool Time (HoTT) and other project delivery activities (for example, RFI management, reporting and dashboarding, etc.);
- Be an active participant in all the planning and execution of the project that is associated with AWP;
- Ensure that key contractor employees as well as sub-contractors have taken mandatory training to understand their roles with implementation of AWP;
- Provide supportive guidance to employees as their roles in the WFP Strategy may be new and uncomfortable to them;
- Be active participant and supporter for the AWP Strategy and fully understand the responsibilities matrix to successfully implement this strategy;
