**Summary**: Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains and grows existing assigned accounts in Canada. Stay involved with all existing contacts and customers whether assigned or not as part of the Canada team
- Work with the Canadian sales team on sales growth in existing and new accounts including the offshore segment.
- Visit and learn the Canadian market (Newfoundland, Eastern, Central, and West) segments to help develop the future strategy for this region. Develop a deep understanding of the market, owners, operators and competitors.
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
- Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Directs product research and development.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Maintains W&O CRM with current information on existing and potential customers and industry contacts.
- Work with Branch Operations staff to ensure that customer’s requirements and concerns are relayed to staff and met.
- Participate in ISO 9001 processes
- Interact with General Manager Canada and team on a daily basis
