**Skills and Attributes**
- LEVEL 1 - Early Childhood Educator certification ( ELCC Graduate or Equivalent and a minimum of **2 years significant experience working with Toddlers in a childcare setting. Does NOT include practicum experience.**:

- Have a strong passion for the childcare field and working with Infants and Toddlers and Preschool ages
- Knowledge of child care licensing standards
- A warm, open manner, positive attitude, willingness to learn and a high energy level, likes to take the initiative, organized and creative
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with staff and families with diverse cultures and languages
- A Current Standard Child Care First Aid & clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check and a clear Child Intervention Check
- Fluency in a second language is an asset and/or sign language.
- Basic computer skills is required
- Fluency in reading and writing English is required

**Additional Details**:
**Wage**: $18.64/ hr which includes Accreditation hourly wage top-up

**Hours of Work**: 10:00am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday ( 30 minute lunch)

35 hours per week for 8 weeks (July 2 - August 27/2025)

**Location**:Intercultural Child & Family Centre - 9538 - 107 Avenue ( McCauley School Building) Edmonton, AB T5H0T7

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $5,427.00 per year
