Tidewater has an immediate opening for a **Transportation Logistics Coordinator **reporting to the Manager, Transportation & Logistics. This is a full-time position located in our Calgary Office. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Primary point of contact for all 3rd party company dispatchers for planning of upcoming loads required by Tidewater.
- Monitor daily tank levels and production rates to ensure the delivery plan is in place for each Tidewater facility.
- Set the weekly and monthly delivery plan for each carrier, to ensure the nominated volumes are on pace to be achieved each month.
- Identifying and implementing logistics-based performance improvement opportunities.
- Managing profitability by planning the most cost effective and efficient loads.
- Oversee third party Carrier relationship in regard to rates, compliance (ISN), orientations, onboarding and KPI’s for each carrier working for tidewater.
- Communicating and managing customer expectations internally and externally. Be the liaison between marketing and operations for understanding and relaying the operational game plan for each commodity and facility.
- Review and approve all third-party trucking invoices.
- Reporting logistics performance information to Manager - Transportation and logistics.
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments across AB, BC and parts of the USA (North Dakoda, Wyoming and Colorado)

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- 3 years combined previous experience in Oil and Gas industry, Transportation, Operations or Logistics
- Will require a min of 2 years direct dispatch experience, managing and directing daily trucks to their destination.
- Post-secondary education considered an asset but not required

**Competencies**:

- Detail oriented with very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Possess a sense of urgency and accountability, ability to respond to tight deadline requirements.
- Positive and professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment and be able to work effectively with many different disciplines including customers and service vendors.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative by undertaking tasks independently.
