Account Executive, IT and Event Solutions

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Acquire new business with accounts that have not previously, or are not currently doing business with SmartSource
- Develop a network of Outsourced IT and Event clients and cultivate their loyalty with SmartSource
- Develop sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers by cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments
- Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
- Demonstrated ability to grow both breadth and depth within existing accounts to secure share of wallet
- Create account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers
- Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned accounts to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business
- Cultivate and convey persuasive sales messages, proposals, and presentations
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated professional sales experience, preferably with experience in outsourced IT or event sales
- Stellar prospecting and sales skills; highly confident and polished
- Must be a strategic thinker and account seller
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Effective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
- Strong knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (i.e., Salesforce) is also required
- A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
