**Summary**
Barber-Collins Security is looking for a full-time Security Guard Supervisor, who will be responsible for managing schedules, training new hires and keeping in touch with the client on a regular basis. The supervisor will be the main point of contact in order to communicate the needs of the client and oversee staff performance to provide guidance and support for development.
**Shifts**
Week 1 (36 hours): Saturday, Sunday and Thursday from 7 am to 7 pm
Week 2 (48 hours): Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 am to 7 pm
In addition to:
- 24/7/365 availability to client requests.
- 24/7/365 availability for guard coverage.
**Responsibilities**
- Create, post and submit schedule for payroll every two (2) weeks.
- Assist in covering shifts if required.
- Maintain contact with client.
- Ensure that guards understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Monitor on job productivity and provide feedback and coaching when required.
- Receive any questions, comments or concerns and provide the appropriate and necessary response.
- Partake in the hiring process and train new employees.
- Ensure that company policies, laws and any procedures are being followed.
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Alarm and access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Interior & exterior foot patrols.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Security/Audit/Tracking reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.45 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
