Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Receiving and printing all calls on various dispatch portals
- Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, customers, and internal teams
- Utilize towing programs/online systems as well as Microsoft Office
- Printing ICBC tow requests and processing tow outs from our yard
- Provide ETAs and other information to all customers
- Keeping all roadside services Portals updated in real time
- Assisting the dispatcher with all aspects of call management
- Organize incoming storage units in the yard
- Assist accounting with ICBC and other billing, following up on POs
- Sells our services
**Experience**:
- 1+ year of previous experience in an assistant or dispatching role, preferably in a towing or trucking environment
- Tow Truck or Flatbed Driving experience a huge asset
- Class 5 drivers licence
- Proficiency in using Towbook or similar transportation management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong understanding of Vancouver and Towing or transportation industry
- Excellent phone systems knowledge for effective communication
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize logistics
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
