**JOB SUMMARY**
The **Bilingual AR Collections Specialist** is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts in a timely manner, problem solve issues affecting AR outstanding and performs other daily AR functions.
**Position Type**:Full-time
**Location**: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Actively seeks out customer payments before it becomes overdue.
- Collect and reduce outstanding aging in A/R sub ledger.
- Resolves A/R aging issues by reviewing account and resolving any discrepancies on open invoices
- Verifies account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service and customers
- Prepare monthly AR aging analysis for review
- Monthly review of open credits for clean up
- Assist in AR inbound calls
- Complete customer master account set up and review credit limits and risks
- Complete work within expected periods of time
- Communicate well with colleagues
- Have minimum absenteeism and be punctual
- Maintain a happy workplace
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-3 years of current experience in a comparable role
- University degree or College diploma
- Data processing knowledge required
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Customer-service oriented
